《Quartz》叫大家咪笑香港人，完美解釋恐慌嘅原因：
創傷從來都未好返！
報導話香港人搶廁紙、口罩、抹手液、漂白水，根本唔代表香港人無理智同邏輯，一切都係因為創傷後遺症（"Call it the consequences of trauma"）

（本來互信程度已經低，經歷六個月有多嘅示威之後，啲人對香港政府同中央嘅信任跌到盡頭，已經唔再覺得政府會講真話。）
點解對中央同香港政嘅信任咁底呢？

（十七年前，香港（人）發現自己被孤立，獨自面對殺死幾百人嘅神秘病毒幾個星期，中央政府完全無出聲。）
然後就完整講解當年2002年中開始開始香港政府要23條立法，而市民用好多次遊行示威都無用。去到2003年2月尾SARS "patient zero"黎香港，3、4月開始惹到四圍都係，剩係醫護人員就死咗8個。問題係原來2002年11月同2003年1月廣東同北京已經知道有案例無出聲，去到2月先通知WHO，然後WHO對香港發出旅遊警告，香港宣布成為死城一樣。最後，民意响71大爆發...痛苦回憶原來無離開過！
記者仲話當年3月响羅湖，有小販叫佢買口罩，因為：
“You should get one if you are going to Hong Kong. There is a strange disease there.”
